Sparked by my personal interest in the environment and sustainability, this project investigates the environmental footprint of our digital world - from understanding what carbon is and how it impacts the planet, to exploring how, data centres and e-waste contribute to CO2 emissions. Alongside identifying the real world threats and challenges, I also recognise the many positives of the digital age, and how ‘green technology’ innovation can help us build a more sustainable future.
